'Brandon went to Rob for guitar lessons for two and a half years from the age of eight and benefited enormously from the experience. He developed his guitar playing skills from those of a virtual beginner to a fairly competent guitarist. He also developed in his understanding and appreciation of music so that he could identify aspects of guitar playing that he heard. Brandon was excited and enthused to hear and play known songs from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Arctic Monkeys, Jimi Hendrix; he loved listening to Chuck Berry in the car.
